Finance Specialist - South America Business Finance

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance Specialist to support the South America Business Finance organization. This role will partner closely with finance leaders and business stakeholders across multiple countries within the region to drive financial planning, forecasting accuracy, performance analysis, and business insights.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with solid systems expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Drive quarterly, and annual forecasting processes across South American countries.
• Support budgeting, strategic planning, and long-range financial planning activities.
• Coordinate inputs from country finance teams and ensure timely consolidation of regional outlooks.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities to financial performance.
• Business partnering with multiple stakeholders to understand and drive results.

Business Performance & Margin Analysis

• Conduct detailed revenue, gross margin, and profitability monthly analysis across the region.
• Analyze business drivers, variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance and support decision-making.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to assess business opportunities and risks.

Consolidation & Reporting

• Consolidate financial results, forecasts, and plans across all South America countries.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports, presentations, and insights for regional leadership.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across countries and reporting cycles.
• Partner with local finance teams to resolve reporting discrepancies and improve data quality.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Collaborate with Business Finance, Center of Excellence, Competency Center, Transformation, and Corporate Finance stakeholders.
• Support financial reviews, business rhythm processes, and leadership discussions.
• Drive process improvements and standardization across the region.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification is a plus.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, Commercial Finance, or related finance roles.
• Experience supporting multi-country or regional finance operations preferred.
• Strong background in forecasting, consolidation, planning, and financial analysis.
• Proven experience performing detailed margin and profitability analysis.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools.
• Experience with Power BI and financial reporting systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, and planning processes.

Language Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Portuguese is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
