Sales Operations Analyst

The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales team by creating and delivering content, expertise, programs, and tools to improve sales and deliver on the company's goals. They set the direction and policies for sales activities, and manage the execution of these plans. They utilize their knowledge of company products, services, support and technology to set and optimize the achievement of sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Key participant in budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations.
• Analyze sales-related expenses associated with the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity, and goal attainment.
• Perform regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets.
• Evaluate pricing structures to ensure fit with company objectives.
• Effectively incorporate client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts and revenue timeline considerations.
• Maintain and enhance sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support CRM and sales technology enhancements through testing, validation, and implementation support.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analysis to improve visibility into pipeline, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to support user adoption.
• Monitor data quality and support governance initiatives to improve process compliance and system adoption.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across revenue operations workflows and systems.

Qualifications

• A university degree (e.g., bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong team‑player skills, able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation.
• Strong organization, planning, and time‑management skills to achieve results.
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
• Self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
