Where no two days are the same.Your roleWe are looking for the a Cost Engineer for the Propulsion team.Participate in Cost estimation and should cost for components analyzing material, manufacturing process, labor and machine rates, tooling, and other aspects of the component.Analyze and validate supplier and buyer’s quotations by comparing internal cost models and should cost.Evaluate cost impact of engineering changes.Create and maintain cost tracking reports and graphs for components across multiple vehicle programs.Collaborate cross functionally with engineering and purchasing to ensure cost alignment.Your profileBachelor in Engineering (preferably Automotive related)MInimum 3 years of experience in cost/technical engineering OEM or Tier 1 backgroundKnowledge of design, manufacturing, and cost analysisTechnical knowledge in at least one of the following areas:TRANSMISSIONS (Assembly, Casting, machining, forging, grinding, mechanics)DRIVELINES (Axles, Transfer case, Assembly, Casting, machining, forging)INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE (Casting, Engine block, oil pan, cylinder head)Advanced MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)Advanced English Communication both spoken and written.What you'll loveEmpowered Careers with Purpose: Work on meaningful projects that use technology to solve real-world challenges.
