Technical Product Owner - Contract Logistics IT

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our Value Added Solutions Competence Center within Contract Logistics IT. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and governing business‑critical applications beyond core WMS platforms, supporting warehouse operations and customer‑specific solutions at a global scale. You will act as a bridge between business and IT, translating complex operational needs into scalable, secure, and efficient application architectures.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design and maintain application architectures aligned with IT and security standards
• Translate business and operational requirements into robust technical solutions
• Define integrations, APIs, and data flows across systems
• Own end‑to‑end application design (concept, build, test, release, and handover)
• Provide architectural guidance to Agile delivery teams
• Ensure solutions follow service‑oriented and API‑based architecture principles
• Contribute to application landscape evolution and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, including Product Owners and IT teams
• Promote reusable, scalable, and well‑documented solutions across regions

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture, solution design, or senior software development roles
• Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, cloud‑native design)
• Experience with application integration and web development concepts
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL is a plus
• Fluent in spoken and written English
