Launch Leader

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Launch Leader to lead the successful execution of new product launches from concept through production stabilization. This role is critical in ensuring that all program milestones, quality requirements, financial targets, and customer expectations are achieved on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who creates momentum, drives accountability, and ensures cross-functional teams remain focused on execution and delivery. This individual must be comfortable challenging the status quo, removing obstacles, escalating risks when necessary, and motivating diverse teams to achieve ambitious objectives

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of new product launches, from Program Charter through SOP and post-launch stabilization.
• Drive cross-functional teams to achieve critical milestones, ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
• Create a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and execution across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, and Program Management teams.
• Proactively identify project risks, constraints, and resource gaps, developing mitigation plans to ensure successful program delivery.
• Track and communicate program status, key performance indicators, and launch readiness to plant leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and operational objectives.
• Lead launch reviews, risk assessments, escalation meetings, and milestone tracking activities.
• Influence stakeholders across all organizational levels to drive decision-making and accelerate issue resolution.
• Ensure successful implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment readiness, logistics planning, and quality deliverables.
• Drive achievement of financial commitments, including budget control, CapEx management, launch cost targets, and profitability objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen launch processes and execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, program management, product launches, or operations leadership.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
• Proven track record leading complex product launches in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience working with APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and launch management methodologies.
• Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authorit
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain, and operations.
