Junior Investment Analyst

Eagle Property Capital (EPC) is a real estate investment firm specializing in the ownership, acquisition, management, and disposition of multifamily apartment properties across the Southern United States. The firm focuses on creating and enhancing value in Class B and C multifamily assets through repositioning, renovation, leasing strategies, and recapitalization.

Role Description

The Junior Investment Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City. This role supports the investment team in underwriting new multifamily acquisition opportunities, preparing financial models, and conducting market and asset-level research for properties across EPC’s target markets. The analyst will assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentations, gathering and analyzing operating data, and supporting due diligence activities, including review of financial statements, rent rolls, and property inspections. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, updating internal databases and reports, and coordinating with asset management and property management teams on business plan execution. The role also involves assisting in investor reporting, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to process improvements and analysis that support informed investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel and familiarity with real estate valuation concepts (DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis).
• Candidates should possess research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, demographic trends, and property-level operating metrics to support investment decisions.
• Candidates should possess written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and investors.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess collaboration and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working closely with investment, asset management, and operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred; relevant coursework or internships in investment analysis or real estate are beneficial.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with the U.S. multifamily real estate market.
