Raw Material Planner

About the role:

The Raw Materials Planner is responsible for planning raw materials supply for all sites in North America, taking into account forecast, inventory, vendor lead times, and ensuring factories can execute production plans. The role also handles purchase order creation, vendor follow‑up, and supports factories with supply solutions, slow‑moving/obsolete raw material action plans, and block stock management.

Key responsibilities:

• Create reports to evaluate raw material forecast, actual consumption, and inventory positions.
• Evaluate site requirements and plan raw material supply accordingly.
• Review the supply plan with each site regularly to align plan and execution.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders with vendors.
• Provide raw material supply solutions through site‑to‑site transfers.
• Support factories on slow‑moving/obsolete raw material action plans.
• Support factories on raw material block stock.

About you:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with SAP and BW preferred.
• Strong background in planning and planning systems.
• Strong data analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of the production planning process and sourcing.
• Solution‑oriented mindset.
