Senior Tooling Engineer (Extrusion)

Buscamos un(a) Ingeniero(a) de Diseño de Herramental (Tooling Design Engineer) con enfoque práctico y analítico, capaz de diseñar, ajustar y mejorar herramentales metálicos para componentes plásticos automotrices (p. ej. sellos de puertas y techos).
El reto principal es asegurar que el herramental entregue la geometría/forma correcta del producto final , combinando conocimiento de proceso (variables y parámetros que impactan la forma) con capacidad para hacer predicciones en computadora mediante CAD y simulación . Es un rol de alta interacción con equipos internos y corporativo, con prioridades cambiantes y necesidad de respuesta rápida
Requisitos (indispensables)
- Experiencia en diseño mecánico de herramentales (tooling) para procesos de plásticos (extrusión/inyección y/o moldes/herramental relacionado).
- Dominio de SolidWorks y AutoCAD (modelado 3D/2D, planos de fabricación, tolerancias).
- Experiencia usando simulación para validar o predecir desempeño del herramental (ideal simulación de flujo/fluido o similar).
- Conocimiento funcional de parámetros de proceso (temperaturas, presiones, flujos) y cómo impactan la forma/calidad del producto.
- Perfil hands-on : entender maquinados/ajustes y dar soporte técnico en cambios.
- Persona muy analítica y lógica , con comunicación efectiva, sentido de urgencia y alta capacidad de priorización.
- Inglés avanzado
