Job Title: HR Business Partner

Introduction: As a Regional HR Business Partner, you will serve as the trusted, on-the-ground advisor for people leaders and employees across assigned countries in the Americas. This pivotal role blends hands-on employee relations expertise, workforce action execution, and country-specific judgment with disciplined partnership across Functional HRBPs, Centers of Excellence (COEs), People Relations, Legal, Payroll, and Benefits teams. Your contributions will ensure consistent, compliant, and caring HR practices that support organizational goals and employee well-being.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Employee & Manager Advisory: Coach and advise leaders at Director level and below on performance management, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), documentation, corrective actions, and follow-up. Escalate executive-sensitive matters appropriately. Guide managers through corrective actions and involuntary terminations ensuring compliance with local labor law and documentation standards. Serve as the first-line HR advisor for complex, country-specific people matters.
• Leave, Accommodations & Policy Execution: Support managers through complex leave administration, including LOA intersections, workplace accommodations, and remote work exceptions. Evaluate and route policy exception requests, contributing country-level nuances to policy development and rollout with COEs.
• Workforce Actions, Projects & Change: Partner on workforce action execution, employee-specific support, change management activities, and engagement action planning. Support global mobility processes for in-region relocations and cross-border moves, ensuring compliance.
• Compliance, Labor & Employee Relations: Act as the primary regional contact for local regulatory matters, labor disputes, union relations, and employee representation. Collaborate with Legal and People Relations on sensitive cases, remediation plans, and investigations.
• Benefits & Payroll Partnership: Coordinate payroll and benefits escalations with respective COEs, support contract deployment, review benefits KPIs and loss ratio reports, and lead benefits onboarding and communications. Participate in vendor performance reviews and annual benefits planning.
• Retail Location Support: Provide HR business partner support to assigned company-owned retail locations, advising on performance management and employee relations.
• Case Management via ServiceNow: Manage HR cases for Director-and-below populations through ServiceNow , ensuring timely, accurate, and SLA-compliant resolutions. Triage and escalate cases as needed while meeting key performance indicators related to case handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner , with expertise in manager coaching, employee relations, and workforce action execution in a multi-country environment.
• Proven knowledge of local Labor Law , works councils, unions, and statutory employee representation within Americas markets.
• Experience partnering with Benefits , Payroll , and vendor management teams; ability to interpret benefits dashboards, KPIs, and loss ratio reports.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday ) and case-management/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow ).
• Demonstrated sound judgment in triaging when to own, consult, or escalate HR matters to Legal, People Relations, or COEs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
• High discretion with confidential employee data, strong documentation skills, and ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, dotted-line reporting structure.
