Record To Report Analyst

As an Analyst, the team members support complex operational and transactional activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, the preparation and posting of journal entries, month end close activities, and property accounting.

Work you’ll do

The objective is to support the recording of all relevant transactions in the general ledger, perform assigned account reconciliations through BlackLine in compliance with the Firm's reconciliation policy, and provide timely reporting to support finance operations as needed.

• Prepare, validate, and post journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies, process guidelines, and internal controls.
• Prepare and document balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned member firms, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and appropriate supporting documentation.
• Investigate, follow up on, and resolve moderate-complexity reconciliation open items, escalating aged, unusual, or non-routine matters as appropriate.
• Perform period-end close activities and support daily finance operations for member firms in accordance with established close calendars and procedures.
• Investigate, follow up on, and resolve or appropriately escalate reconciliation open items.
• Meet established service-level, quality, and productivity targets.
• Complete assigned activities accurately and in accordance with process requirements.
• Execute assigned record to report (RTR) activities, including general ledger accounting, accrual and prepaid accounting, account analysis, and close support.
• Independently analyze assigned activities, identify root causes of routine issues, recommend resolutions within established guidance, and escalate non-routine matters.
• Compile, validate, and organize data to support reporting, operational analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding activity status, required information, open items, exceptions, and expected resolution timelines.
• Maintain complete and accurate workpapers, process documentation, and supporting evidence in accordance with applicable policies and control requirements.
• Execute assigned asset lifecycle management (ALM) activities, including asset setup, transfers, periodic review, depreciation support, retirement and disposal, while ensuring accurate records, complete documentation, timely processing, and appropriate reconciliation to the general ledger.

Qualifications

Required:

• Completion of course of study/Egresado in any pertinent field or industry in any pertinent field or industry
• Advanced English level.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Should be proactive and possess good oral and written communication skills
• Have attention to detail along with good analytical skills
• Ability to perform extensive research to reach accurate conclusions with ambiguous data scenarios
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
• Experience in RTR and reconciliation process
• Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the Queretaro Office

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Mexico at the time of hire; limited sponsorship may be available for this role based on business needs and applicable law.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Reconciliation in BlackLine and SAP S/4HANA
