Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities.
• Support the manufacturing process, with projects to improve the quality, cost and lean manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing in the installation of new processes.
• Responsible for maintenance budgets.
• Comply & provide all corporate requirements.
• Develop, implement programs & practices to 100% compliance with applicable federal, state, local and HillRom regulations & practices.
• Assure the execution of the maintenance programs.
• Responsible for the correct maintenance of facilities: HillRom Monterrey.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead the zero-harm initiative at HillRom.

Education

• Electrical mechanical engineering degree.

Experience

• 3-7 years’ experience in the following specialties: facilities and equipment maintenance like electrical power and control of machines, process data collection and machine interfaces, motion control and machine logic programming, electrical substations.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.
• 6´s, systems implementation.
