SAP Technical Lead :
The SAP Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of SAP technical solutions. This role involves overseeing ABAP development, ensuring high-quality coding standards, and managing system integrations while working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design , Development and implement SAP technical solutions aligned with business requirements
- Lead ABAP development (RICEFW objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards
- Manage system integrations (IDOCs, APIs, RFCs, OData, middleware)
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical designs
- Oversee transport management and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely defect resolution
- Optimize performance using HANA best practices (CDS, AMDP)
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and documentation standards
Typical Skills Required
- Strong expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA, and SAP integrations and Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA, CDS, AMDP, Fiori/UI5, ODATA
- Experience in integrations (API, CPI,BTP, PI/PO)
- Understanding of SAP FI and MDG and hands-on experience
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
