Senior Industrialization Specialist (BOM & Product Industrialisation) – Tier 1 Automotive | Monterrey, Mexico
Drive Manufacturing Readiness and Master Data Excellence
An international Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking a Senior Industrialization Specialist to resolve product industrialisation issues and improve Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy at its Monterrey manufacturing facility.
This is a critical turnaround role focused on correcting historical industrialisation issues, improving manufacturing master data, and ensuring new product launches are production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and correct manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing master data.
- Identify and resolve industrialisation issues affecting production performance.
- Improve manufacturing readiness for existing and new product introductions.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Standardise industrialisation processes and documentation.
- Support engineering changes and product transfer activities.
- Drive improvements in manufacturing data accuracy and process robustness.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in industrialisation, manufacturing engineering, or NPI within Tier 1 automotive.
- Strong knowledge of BOM structures, routings, manufacturing master data, and ERP systems.
- Experience resolving industrialisation deficiencies and manufacturing readiness issues.
- Understanding of APQP, PPAP, engineering change management, and product launch processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English required; Spanish is advantageous.
