Project Scheduler (Monterrey)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice.
• Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.
• Ensure accuracy of project schedules, perform version control, identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.
• Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date. Recommend actions to keep the project on track and within budget.
• Maintain the project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects.
• Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans. Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a scheduling role.
• Good analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Projects.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Good working ethics and ability to treat documents with confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting and to provide leadership when required to do so.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions. Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
