Role Summary

As Senior Product Manager, you'll own the product direction for your team and drive meaningful outcomes efficiently with minimal oversight. You'll lead the vision for your product area, shape the roadmap, and identify high-leverage opportunities to improve your team's impact. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and stakeholders to deliver products that meet user needs and drive business growth. This senior leadership role requires you to navigate ambiguity, mentor other PMs, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area, aligning cross-functional teams around measurable business outcomes
• Drive product initiatives from concept through launch with minimal oversight, including requirements, implementation, go-to-market strategy, and measurement
• Navigate ambiguity and make high-impact prioritization decisions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business value
• Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify high-leverage product opportunities
• Define clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira that enable teams to execute effectively
• Track key performance metrics and hold teams accountable to outcomes, using data and storytelling to communicate progress and maintain alignment
• Coordinate with marketing, support, and operations to ensure successful product launches and adoption
• Remove blockers and work with engineering and design to ensure scalable, repeatable solutions
• Mentor Product Managers on the team, elevating product quality and strategic thinking across the organization
• Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic product decisions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, with proven track record in consumer mobile or web applications
• Demonstrated ability to own product direction and drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Experience in startup or small company environments owning product areas end-to-end
• Strong analytical skills with ability to measure impact and make data-driven decisions
• Deep understanding of product domain, users, market, and competitive landscape
• Proficiency with Figma and Jira for design collaboration and requirements definition
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across teams
• Experience managing complex projects independently and resolving cross-team dependencies
• Track record mentoring product managers or leading initiatives that elevated team capabilities

Preferred Experience

• Background in travel, social, or community-focused consumer products
• Shipped and maintained products for 2+ years at a single company
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests to measure product impact
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Looker or Amplitude
• Experience launching both web and mobile products
• Developed go-to-market strategies and coordinated cross-functional launches
• Passion for travel and cultural experiences
