Maintenance Mechanical Section Leader (Engineer)

Goal of position

Manage the teams of assigned mechanical technical personnel by planning activities for the correct fulfillment of the indicators (KPI's) of the Maintenance area, ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance orders.

Principal responsabilities

• Supervise the maintenance of machines and plant facilities.
• Manage the processes of their work teams to ensure safety in the production areas, taking care of the physical integrity of each of the collaborators.   
• Monitor preventive maintenance plans, total preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of systems.
• Coordinate the efficient management of energy.
• Act as an intermediary between internal customers and technical staff, clearly communicating objectives and available means. 
• Comply with the established maintenance budget.
• Manage meetings with the staff under his charge to ensure that communications are properly shared, through the SFM and JFM boards.
• Check the quality status of deviations to processes, as well as proper quality assurance in processes.
• General review and follow-up of maintenance orders.
• Provide support to internal and external audits.
• Comply with the indicators established in the area.
• Manage key users in the SAP system of the area.
  

Scholarship, knowledge, experience and skills.

• Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Languages: Advanced English.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related leadership position within the automotive industry.
• Leadership and personnel management.
• Knowledge of SAP system.
• KPIS management.
• Focus on achievement and customer service.
