R&D Product Owner

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to drive the future of the products in the SWB area. Each day, you will evaluate product needs, technical opportunities, and customer feedback to identify innovative solutions and guide R&D activities. You will also showcase your expertise by leading product development initiatives, driving product quality improvements, and collaborating with technical experts and business stakeholders to deliver customer and business value.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Drive product development and maintenance activities to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
• Lead product quality and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product performance, reliability, and customer value.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, methodologies, and R&D opportunities to support innovation and the evolution of the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with technical experts, customers, and internal stakeholders to translate the voice of the customer into actionable product and technology improvements.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in R&D, product development, technology evaluation, and engineering methodologies, and enjoy working in an industrial technology and product engineering environment.

You have proven experience (5+ years) in R&D, product engineering, software/product development, or a related technical field, with the ability to solve complex problems independently and guide junior team members.

You are adept in relevant engineering, product development, project management, and technical documentation tools and methodologies.

You are passionate about innovation, problem solving, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and you enjoy turning ideas and hypotheses into validated solutions.

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related technical discipline, with demonstrated experience in product development, R&D, or a comparable technical area.

You are at ease communicating in English and the local language, as required for the role.

You hold current licenses, certifications, or work authorization required for the position and valid in the job location, where applicable.
