Senior Textile Designer – Mattress Fabrics (International projects)
At INNOFA Mexico , we're looking for a Senior Textile Designer to join our Product Design & Development team.
This role is responsible for developing new fabrics for mattress cover applications, working closely with manufacturing teams and supporting international development projects from concept through production.
Advanced English is essential, as the position works closely with U.S.-based teams and international projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop fabrics for mattress cover applications.
- Create commercial collections aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
- Develop products from concept through sample validation and production implementation.
- Prepare technical documentation and coordinate sample development, trials, and product launches.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Commercial, and Development teams.
Who We're Looking For:
- Degree in Textile Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in textile design and product development within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Experience developing fabrics for mattress covers, upholstery, home textiles, or other textile applications.
- Strong understanding of fabric construction, textile analysis, manufacturing processes, and product validation.
Additional experience includes:
- Jacquard fabric design and development.
- Experience with textile design software used for fabric development and Jacquard design.
- Experience working with international customers or cross-functional development teams.
Location: Puebla, Mexico
