We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Apodaca, Nuevo León.

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting key Human Resources processes, providing excellent service to both hourly and salaried employees, and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of HR and employee-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on the pre-payroll process , including attendance, absences, overtime, vacations, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Maintain a positive and effective relationship with the labor union , supporting labor relations activities and addressing employee and union matters.
• Coordinate administrative and hourly recruitment processes , from sourcing and interviewing through hiring and onboarding.
• Manage employee documentation and support the onboarding process for new hires.
• Provide HR support and guidance to employees regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and HR processes.
• Support the administration of vacations, leave, employee movements, attendance, and other HR transactions.
• Participate in employee engagement, retention, communication, and workplace initiatives .
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Mexican labor legislation .
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and other management information as required.
• Partner with managers and other departments to address staffing and employee-related needs.
• Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field .
• Previous experience with pre-payroll processes and payroll-related incidences .
• Experience working with labor unions and employee relations .
• Experience recruiting both administrative and hourly/operational employees .
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is preferred.
• Experience using an HRIS/ERP system; Workday experience is highly preferred , or experience with a similar platform.
• Intermediate English proficiency , with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
• Working knowledge of Mexican labor legislation .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel .
