About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Quotation Specialist to join our New Business and Strategy team in Monterrey. This role leads the evaluation, quotation and commercial structuring of new business opportunities, so that prospects get a fast answer and the company quotes at a price that makes money. The position exists to support growth beyond our current portfolio. We are starting to pursue opportunities outside our core business: products we have not manufactured before, and services we have not offered. We do not have a methodology to quote them. You will build it. When a new opportunity arrives, you decide how it gets evaluated, what assumptions and calculations it takes, and what price makes it profitable.

Responsibilities

• Define how the company evaluates and quotes business opportunities it has not quoted before.
• Analyze the profitability and financial viability of an opportunity before quoting it.
• Work with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and finance to understand what it costs to deliver a new product or service, and translate that into financial terms.
• Build quotation models and commercial proposals for new prospects and OEMs.
• Track the new business pipeline: monitoring, prioritization, and cadence.
• Align commercial terms with the field sales team.
• Prepare supporting materials for presentations to prospective clients.
• Keep the new business opportunity database up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Around 7 years of professional experience in quotations, project evaluation, financial modeling, or costing.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in costing and quotation processes.
• Experience evaluating or quoting an opportunity with no historical reference to compare against.
• Experience in commercial negotiation and structuring proposals for OEMs or prospects.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Advanced English.
• Industry is open. Manufacturing is valued and automotive is a plus. Experience quoting across different types of business matters just as much here.
