Training Specialist (Santiago de Querétaro)

What you’ll do

Responsible for designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs to enhance the skills of employees, in overall operations performance at the customer support center of excellence. This position must also work closely with Subject Matter experts and leadership in the various Eaton Care support teams and locations.

  1. Designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance workforce skills and productivity.
  2. Planning and monitoring training programs according to business requirements.
  3. Map out annual training plans, design and develop training programs for Sales & Marketing and Tech Support Team.
  4. Evaluating program effectiveness, materials, delivery methods, and schedules.
  5. Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes).
  6. Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  7. Maintain updated curriculum database and training records per employee.
  8. Conduct the Onboarding plan for new employees in a suitable manner to facilitate the adaptation process in the company.
  9. Support multiple training events.
  10. Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution required. Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Training Specialist, Training Analyst, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with different ERP’s (SAP, SALESFORCE).
  • Drive for results.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Good interpersonal skills / communication.
  • Easy adaptability to different work and cultural environments / teamwork.
  • Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and process oriented.
  • Fluent verbal and concise written communication skills in English and Spanish.
