Tool Room Manager

We are looking to add a Tooling Manager located in Guadalajara North, Campus. The role involves managing the Tool Room department and collaborating with customers and internal colleagues on new tool and mold development, process improvement, and maintenance of production molds.

Typical Responsibilities

• Manage new tooling requisitions from prototype or complex designs through mass production.
• Lead improvements, major repairs, and engineering change notices for molds.
• Implement preventive maintenance for production molds.
• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing tooling and processes.
• Implement quality and safety improvements through training for the tool room team.
• Generate and implement cost‑reduction ideas.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing operations and engineering in electronic manufacturing.
• Strong background in tooling engineering.
• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English.
• Customer‑service skills.
• Proficiency with design software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and NX.
• Experience with hard‑tool and stamping tooling.
