Buyer II

Responsibilities

• Identify and select merchandise that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and customer base.
• Offline visit markets to evaluate and select suppliers to choose the best products.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and industry shifts.
• Monitor fashion trends and consumer preferences through various sources (fashion shows, social media, market research).
• Conduct analysis to forecast upcoming seasons’ collections, ensuring product selections align with market demand.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with store owners, manufacturers, and designers.
• Provide input on the visual merchandising of stores and online platforms.
• Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activity and sales performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving buying strategies and product assortment.
• Assist vendors in completing SHEIN account registration, product photography, product listing, and sales, resolving any issues encountered during the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• Strong knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecast trends, and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to go to commercial areas of CDMX (Tepito) and Estado de Mexico.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Passion for fashion and an eye for identifying products that will appeal to the target market.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative and innovative mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent English (required)
