We are seeking a talented and data-driven Looker Business Analyst & Infographic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Looker and Looker Studio to design and develop insightful dashboards, infographics, and visualizations. You will transform raw data from sources like BigQuery into compelling visual stories that inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Experience:

4-6+ years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role, with a strong focus on Looker and Looker Studio development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Looker and Looker Studio.


• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data in BigQuery.


• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.


• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.


• Understanding of design principles and best practices for creating effective visualizations.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for data and visualization.


• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Fast typing skills to efficiently document and communicate finding

Job responsibilities

Data Analysis and Visualization:

• Utilize Looker to connect to BigQuery and other data sources, model data, and create robust Looker dashboards and reports.


• Design and develop visually appealing and informative infographics and visualizations using Looker Studio, incorporating industry best practices and design principles.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.


• Present data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communication to effectively convey key takeaways.

Data Modeling and Exploration:

• Partner with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and integrity.


• Explore new data sources and identify opportunities for data integration to enrich Looker dashboards and reporting capabilities.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest Looker features and functionalities to continuously enhance visualization and reporting practices.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on data needs and visualization requirements.


• Proactively seek feedback on visualizations and reports to continuously improve their effectiveness and impact.


• Contribute to a collaborative and data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the use of data-informed decision-making.
