ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II (Facilities)

Medtronic seeks an Engineering Technician II for facilities operations in Tijuana. The role involves technical support for production processes, equipment monitoring, inventory management, and compliance with manufacturing standards in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to engineers on production process improvements and compliance
- Monitor equipment, collect operating data, and perform calibration and testing activities
- Analyze equipment malfunctions and deviations to identify and resolve problems
- Conduct root-cause analyses and prepare reports using process metrics
- Maintain process designs and documentation in accordance with SOPs and GMPs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries
- Inventory management and asset control experience
- Knowledge of procurement, invoicing, and vendor management processes
- Familiarity with safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent conversational English
