Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Senior manufacturing engineer role at Baxter focused on leading process transfers from other facilities and driving continuous improvement in regulated manufacturing operations. The position combines technical problem-solving, project leadership, and process optimization to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead transfer and integration of manufacturing processes from other Baxter sites with validation and operational readiness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, yield, and reduce scrap and waste
- Design and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment supporting safe and efficient production
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Plan and support manufacturing capacity strategies addressing equipment, labor, and maintenance needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5+ years manufacturing engineering or process development experience in regulated environment
- Experience leading validation of end-to-end manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated root cause analysis and corrective action implementation skills
- Cross-functional collaboration experience with operations, quality, and suppliers
- Project management and prioritization skills managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong technical communication and stakeholder influence abilities
