Associate Consultant – SAP SD Consultant

Location

Mexico (Mexico City / Monterrey or Guadalajara). Hybrid mode; may require occasional travel to the office.

Overview

Infosys is seeking a SAP SD Consultant who will be a key player in the consulting team. The role includes discovering and defining problem statements, evaluating solution options, making recommendations, creating detailed design, architecture and process artifacts, and implementing deployment plans. The consultant will also support knowledge transfer and may participate in AMS support projects.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or engineering degree, or an equivalent foreign credential, from an accredited institution.
• Up to three additional years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of years of education.
• At least 5 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Must be based in Mexico (Mexico City, Monterrey or Guadalajara).
• Will be working in a hybrid mode; travel to the office may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP SD, including at least one full life cycle project implementation.
• Strong in‑depth experience in sales order, delivery, billing, pricing, SD account assignment and revenue recognition processes and system integration areas.
• Pricing knowledge, including understanding of customizing and lean specification.
• Expertise in Mexican localization topics such as Electronic Invoice (CFDi), Payment Complement, integration with authorized vendors for electronic stamping (PACs), incoterms, invoice tax and withholding taxes.
• Expertise in IDOC troubleshooting and resolution.
• Experience in localizations for other LATAM countries (e.g., Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador) is a plus.
• Cross‑functional module knowledge.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and provide conceptual and detailed design, perform SAP configurations, write detailed specifications for ABAP development, test and implement automated solutions.
• Identify areas of improvement and share regular feedback with the team.
• Expertise in SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance) is a plus.
• Desired expertise in retail, food & beverage, manufacturing and pharma industries.
• Project experience on interfaces with both SAP and non‑SAP systems (iDocs, RFCs, BAPI, etc.).
• Good understanding of business processes in the FMCG‑Beverage domain.
• Ability to read ABAP code and debugging skills is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Planning and coordination skills.
• Ability to work and connect with a team located in other geographies virtually.
