Security Systems Engineer (Santiago de Querétaro)

Position Objective

Ensure the optimal, safe, and continuous operation of electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV and Monitoring) with a focus on the Genetec Security Center platform. This is achieved through preventive maintenance, project supervision, interdepartmental coordination, and continuous improvement of technological security processes.

Lead Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain the Genetec Security Center software, including cameras, doors, readers, licenses, and events.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV in accordance with the established plan.
• Coordinate effectively with the Security Monitoring Room, ensuring continuous device operability and proper incident response.
• Conduct daily inspections of cameras and doors to ensure correct functionality and compliance with physical security standards.
• Provide technical training to system operators to ensure proper use of the platform.
• Collaborate closely with the Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure (servers), and Facilities teams.
• Oversee the execution of security technology projects, ensuring timely delivery aligned with BRP's quality standards.
• Apply best practices in technical documentation, backups, and change control.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, international standards, and BRP's Quality Policy.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing technical evidence of compliance.
• Propose continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all security systems equipment and assets.
• Act in accordance with BRP's values.

Education

• Bachelor's / IT Engineer Speciality

Experience

• 2 Years in Information Technologies

Language

• Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
• English advanced (Min. 80%) written specifically.
• French or German is an advantage.
