Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:HSE Specialist__Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.You will be mainly accountable for:Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainable Development Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.4+ years of experience in similar roles as HSE Specialist (Safety).Availability for work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 7 PM - Rest days from Monday to Thursday.Experience in manufacturing environment.Lead or internal auditor for ISO 45001 & 14001.Plus knowledge of ergonomic issues.Federal regulatory knowledge (STPS, PASST).Experience in Power BI & Power Apps.Advanced English level.Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
