You will be responsible of exploring and implementing new design methodologies that make use of AI engines and modern hardware description languages.Key ResponsibilitiesRole responsibilities include although not limited to:• IP to SoC integration.• Develop automation scripts.• Performing and debugging digital simulations, and driving to closure of bugs• Working closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to implement efficient design methodologies.• Ability to deliver high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environmentBehavioral Traits• Eagerness to learn and apply new technical concepts.• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.• Open to feedback and continuous improvement.What You Will Learn• Practical experience in hardware design and development processes.• Fundamentals of hardware verification, debugging, and testing.• How to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.• Industry best practices for documentation, quality, and design reviews.## **Qualifications:**Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.Minimum Qualifications:• Pursuing a Master's or PHD's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation.• 4 months of experience in:o Digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architectureo At least one programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Unix (Linux)o Hardware description languages (such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog)o Basic skills pertaining to pre-Si validation, examples include logic simulators (Xilinx, Quartus, Modelsim, VCS).o Debug capabilities.• Advance English level.• Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship)Preferred Qualifications:Basic testbench development and test scenarios writing, functional coverage concepts and implementationA candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.## Job Type:Student / Intern## Shift:Shift 1 (Mexico)## Primary Location:Mexico, Guadalajara## Additional Locations:## Business group:At the Data Center Group (DCG), we're committed to delivering exceptional products and delighting our customers.
