Senior Inventory Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating activities related to cycle counts, physical inventories, and bill of materials (BOM) reviews to maintain inventory integrity within the system by analyzing inventory variances and identifying root causes.

Key Responsibilities, Requirements, and Competencies

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze total inventory value on a daily basis by creating planner-based reports and charts to identify opportunities for inventory reduction.
• Coordinate and analyze physical inventory counts.
• Verify weekly and daily cycle counts required by corporate and analyze the root causes of inventory gains and losses.
• Coordinate cycle counts according to the required frequency and schedule, ensuring 100% compliance.
• Prepare supporting documentation for cycle count adjustments and obtain the necessary approvals.
• Execute inventory adjustments in the system resulting from cycle count findings.
• Coordinate the activities of the Cycle Count Specialist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Field of Study: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered for certain positions.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in inventory management.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing facilities that may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
