Finance Manager, 3P Finance Mx (Xico)

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join MX's 3P Finance team to be our Finance FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) lead for MX.

Our 3P (Third-Party) business includes Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) channels.

With Sellers contributing to over 65% of Amazon MX online sales, 3P's FBA channel is integral to Amazon's ability to deliver on its goal of offering a vast selection of products at low prices to customers.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, a track record of effective business partnership, and the ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.

The candidate must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to understand topline and cost drivers, and deliver high-quality insights to senior leaders to influence fee strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the Finance Manager (and co‑owner) for Marketplace Latam FBA (fulfilled by Amazon) channel
• Consolidate FP&A; related processes for MX Marketplace
• Financial modeling, providing analytical support, and validating financial and operational results of the Marketplace business
• Ensure a high level of financial controls are followed, maintaining data integrity
• Lead month‑end close activities and planning cycles
• Active business partner co‑leading the business teams for growth and profitability
• Consolidate forecast and reporting process for Marketplace Latam, driving automation and process simplification
• Provide accurate and insightful financial reports
• Identify opportunities to use general standards and transfer repetitive tasks to central teams

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives/projects
• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
