Legal Associate Senior

Description

The position is responsible for safeguarding the interests of the company, seeking to prevent and / or solve adverse situations, always in agreement with the values of the Organization and the applicable legal regulatory framework.

This position works closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and government authorities, to facilitate real estate transactions and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review all types of Contracts and legal documents related to the operations of the organization, looking for risks or contingencies.
• Preparation of minutes of meetings, Board minutes, incorporation of company, agreements between shareholders, administration of powers and other corporate document relevant to the operation of companies.
• Document all minutes’ assemblies
• Provides legal advice for the CEI legal department, including coordinating various projects requiring legal assistance.
• Conduct legal due diligence, including title review, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Interact with Government and Authorities local and for each country where CEI have services.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to Legal.
• Provide legal advice regarding health research and grants projects for CEI, its affiliates or CEI clients.
• Coordinate and provide legal advice regarding regulatory procedures before any national authority for CEI, its affiliates or CEI clients.

General Knowledge/Competencies:

• Advanced English
• Priority setting. Ability to focus time on important activities, eliminate obstacles and establish priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
• Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Analyzing complex issues and implementing timely, effective solutions.
• Communication (Internal & External): Clear and effective communication to align teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education

• Law Bachelor’s degree
• Master's degree (preferred)

Experience

• +5 years of experience in legal, real estate law preferred.
• Experience in preparing all types of contracts desired.
• Desired experience and knowledge in Corporate Law and regulatory compliance.
