Function: Supply Management / Logistics

Main Responsibilities

• Manages the entire packaging process including packaging design, physical return of containers and project management to ensure warehousing and logistics needs as well as customer satisfaction. Drives cost reduction and develops process improvements.
• Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.
• Deliver required outcomes by managing day‑to‑day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.
• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
• Help senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
• Provide operational support services and sometimes act as first‑line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.
• Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.
