Production Supervisor 1st shift (Onsite)

Overview

Position: Team Leader – Manufacturing Operations

Location: Calzada Manuel Gomez Morin #3200, Mexicali, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of support and/or production level or hourly/direct employees in Manufacturing Operations.
• Lead the RTPR meetings, monitor and coordinate manufacturing team activities, focusing on individual and overall team achievement to accomplish policy deployment objectives.
• Monitor cell performance: productivity, production schedule, cost, quality, safety compliance and customer satisfaction goals within the manufacturing facility.
• Actively involved in real‑time problem resolution, evaluate progress and results, and determine improvements needed in operating procedures or objectives.
• Support company values, employee philosophies and Lean manufacturing; perform the role with minimum supervision and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Aerospace) or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Team Leader or similar position.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate in English at a 70% level, with sufficient conversational skills to participate in meetings and handle professional interactions.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including experience in reporting, data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and database management.
• Knowledge in personnel management and ability to develop recovery plans.
• Result‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to provide direction on technical and complex issues to support personnel.
• Schedule availability and line balancing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Visa and travel availability.
• Power BI skills.
