SMT Equipment Engineer

We are looking for an SMT Equipment Support & Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of our SMT production lines. This role provides technical support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT equipment (pick‑and‑place, reflow ovens, SPI/AOI, screen printers).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Support production teams during setups, changeovers, and daily operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement actions.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, spare parts, and technical support.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• Experience with SMT equipment (Yamaha, Panasonic, Juki, Fuji, ASM preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in automation, sensors, motors, and PLC basics.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow maintenance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high‑volume electronics manufacturing
• Knowledge of IPC standards
• Familiarity with MES systems
