Process Engineer

Ensure the introduction of new products and processes, as well as the execution of cost reduction projects through manufacturing improvements, waste reduction, PPH increase, and process variability reduction. Implement process standards based on Core Tools and Poka-Yoke devices to ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and standardization of manufacturing process documentation through PFMEA, Control Plans, HOE, Standard Work, AVE, and quality tools.
• Support for pilot runs, PPAP activities, and first production runs, optimizing set-up time, PPH, SMED, and scrap reduction.
• Process analysis to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize Kaizen projects.
• Implementation of Core Tools to ensure process robustness and standardization.
• Development and optimization of process recipes focused on resource efficiency.
• Project management and follow-up through Gantt plans to ensure timeline and cost compliance.
• Training and certification of operational personnel on critical processes.
• Support for safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, including audits and compliance with applicable standards.
• Troubleshooting of process-related technical issues to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
• Planning and execution of cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
• Design and validation of tooling, fixtures, and assembly devices to improve scrap performance and line efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar process engineering role, preferably in assembly processes.
• Knowledge and experience with Core Tools: PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience in new product introduction (NPI), pilot runs, process validation, and production launches.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement projects.
• Knowledge of process optimization, scrap reduction, cost reduction, OEE improvement, and SMED techniques.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing problem-solving.
• Advanced English proficiency.
