Tax Project Manager

 The Project Manager prepares and delivers the initial information request for tax clients and kicks off the tax return preparation process by reviewing and organizing the clients’ documents. This is a full-time position that requires working in an office environment located in Hermosillo, Sonora.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers the Document Request List to business clients.
• Follows up with business and individual clients on a regular basis until information is received.
• Regularly monitors client document upload platforms and processes new information received in a timely manner.
• Performs quick assessments of clients’ tax documents.
• Sends individual client documents to SurePrep for processing.
• Logs tax return tasks into Workflow.
• Monitors Workflow reports and stays on top of tax deadlines.
• Meets with assigned Relationship Managers to review Workflow reports on a regular basis.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn complex tax software systems.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant.
• Previous experience in a project management role is a plus.
