This position works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to drive product quality, process control, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications.Job RequirementsSupport the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 requirements.Review manufacturing processes and quality data to identify opportunities for improvement and defect reduction.Participate in root cause analysis investigations and corrective/preventive action activities using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, including scrap, rework, nonconformances, and customer complaints.Assist in the review and disposition of nonconforming material through the Material Review Board (MRB) process.Support internal, customer, and third-party audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit findings.Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and quality records.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure process capability and product conformity.Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in accordance with AS9102 requirements.Support validation and qualification activities for new products, processes, and equipment.Review engineering changes and assess potential quality impacts.Assist in supplier quality activities, including supplier corrective actions and performance monitoring.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and aerospace industry standards.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfactionBut what else?
