Area Sales Manager
We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our innovative, growing company. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for delivering revenue, margin, and market share goals for all client brands in the direct/indirect stores assigned to direct reports, Sales Promoters. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for executing strategic and tactical business development plans for the respective region to drive sales and market share growth at every location. The Area Sales Manager is expected to maintain relationships, alignment, and linkage between key individuals within the brand’s sales channels, acting as primary contact for DM level across the carrier partners. The Area Sales Manager will manage activities through a team to build and maintain trusting relationships, train & engage store sales associates on products and devices, promote and advocate products and brands.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Sales Promoters across a large geographic territory, whose primary role is to visit stores in an assigned region, build and maintain trusting relationships, train & engage store sales associates on products and devices, and promote and advocate products and brand to drive sell-through.
- Empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Establish, foster, and drive strong partnerships with carrier regional and field leadership to enhance and promote brand engagement, identify key growth opportunities, and drive overall sell-through for the region.
- Inspire and motivate a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve assigned business targets which will include prioritization of store visits during optimal store-traffic periods to maximize impact and meet training objectives.
- Form individual and team goals and execute plans to reach targets and direct sales resources to meet trade partner needs and channel requirements.
- Maintain highly visible presence both in person and virtually in designated region within assigned territory by conducting regular field visits within region to ensure excellence and value-add from the Sale Promoters store engagements and training events.
- Responsible for budget management of market funds, conducting performance reviews, HR policies, training, hiring process, payroll, and other management responsibilities as required.
- Maintain a strong level of expectation and ability to lead/coach through various content and mediums when being face to face is not possible.
- Highly adaptable to an ever-changing business landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of combined direct sales/retail sales experience.
- 1-3+ years’ supervisor / management experience in retail and/or retail sales field management with the ability to manage a diverse, remote team in a performance-based culture focused on sell-through preferred
- Proven experience in data reporting and analytical reporting required.
- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Proven experience planning, monitoring, and managing departmental budget.
- Passion for technology and leading others with such passion.
- Ability to analyze sales and market territory data to provide guidance and direction for under-performing markets within a region including quarterly market evaluations, competitive assessments, KPI calculation, and key recommendations to drive increased sales and market share in the respective region.
- Critical thinking to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations to senior leadership based on field sales team's market intelligence and feedback of current business conditions.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills to working closely with Leaders, Territory Sales Managers other team members and clients.
- Excellent judgment, effective problem-resolution skills, and the ability to balance multiple demands.
- Ability to empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify trends to drive key business decisions, develop business goals, and determine how to accomplish results with some guidelines.
- Comfortability with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides. Meet)
- Ability to travel 50-75% of time.

Estamos en búsqueda de un Area Sales Manager para unirse a nuestra empresa innovadora en constante crecimiento. El Area Sales Manager (ASM) es responsable de alcanzar las metas de ingresos, margen y participación de mercado para todas las marcas del cliente en las tiendas directas e indirectas asignadas a sus reportes directos (Promotores de Ventas).
El ASM será responsable de ejecutar planes estratégicos y tácticos de desarrollo de negocio en su región respectiva para impulsar las ventas. Se espera que mantenga relaciones y alineación con individuos clave en los canales de venta de la marca, actuando como el contacto principal a nivel de Gerencia de Distrito (DM) con los socios de telefonía (carriers). Gestionará actividades a través de un equipo para construir relaciones de confianza, capacitar a los asociados de las tiendas y promover la marca.
Responsabilidades
- Liderar y desarrollar un equipo de Promotores de Ventas en un territorio geográfico amplio, cuyo rol principal es visitar tiendas, capacitar al personal en productos/dispositivos y fomentar el sell-through (ventas al consumidor final).
- Empoderar a los miembros del equipo para demostrar liderazgo de pensamiento y toma de decisiones en un entorno colaborativo.
- Impulsar alianzas sólidas con el liderazgo regional de los carriers para mejorar el compromiso con la marca e identificar oportunidades de crecimiento.
- Inspirar y motivar a profesionales de ventas para alcanzar objetivos, priorizando visitas a tiendas durante periodos de alto tráfico para maximizar el impacto.
- Establecer metas individuales y grupales , ejecutando planes para dirigir recursos de ventas según las necesidades de los socios comerciales.
- Mantener una presencia visible (presencial y virtual) mediante visitas regulares de campo para asegurar la excelencia en las capacitaciones de los promotores.
- Gestión administrativa: Manejo de presupuestos de mercado, revisiones de desempeño, políticas de RR.HH., nómina y procesos de contratación.
- Adaptabilidad: Liderar y coachear a través de diversos medios digitales cuando no sea posible el contacto cara a cara.
Requisitos y Calificaciones
- Educación: Licenciatura concluida.
- Experiencia: * Más de 5 años en ventas directas o retail.
- 1 a 3 años en roles de supervisión/gerencia en retail o gestión de campo, con capacidad para manejar equipos diversos y remotos bajo una cultura de resultados.
- Análisis de datos: Experiencia comprobada en reportes analíticos y manejo de datos.
- Gestión financiera: Experiencia en planificación y monitoreo de presupuestos departamentales.
- Habilidades técnicas: Pasión por la tecnología y dominio de Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides, Meet).
- Pensamiento crítico: Capacidad para evaluar condiciones de mercado y ofrecer recomendaciones clave a la alta dirección basadas en la inteligencia de campo.
- Habilidades interpersonales: Resolución de problemas, gestión del tiempo y atención al detalle.
- Movilidad: Disponibilidad para viajar entre el 50% y 75% del tiempo.
