Position reports to VP of Sales in Katy, Texas. Candidates must have passport to travel to Katy Texas for onboarding.

SUMMARY

The Sales candidate will possess strong experience in the Forklift / AWP market and be able to develop and manage a wholesale distribution channel and/or key accounts for the sale of Forklift / AWP machinery product lines. Candidate will take ownership and accountability for all areas of assigned region, including dealer development, dealer recruitment, inventory management, forecasting, program promotion and communication, dealer sales planning, dealer goal setting, dealer performance evaluations, national and direct rental account support, and most importantly, achieving the region market share objectives.

Must have experience communicating with dealer management, and national accounts to ensure business objectives are met while providing exceptional support.

Candidate can successfully prospect and recruit potential dealers to enhance the growth and success of the region. Must possess the critical business and market evaluation skills necessary to locate and assign the best dealer candidate for each market in the region, as well as assist in the development of the dealer's business.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• The RBM is responsible for the sales development and activity within a multi‑state assigned territory.
• Conflict resolution with dealers/customers in the region.
• Carry out company strategies as directed, and achieve regional sales goals.
• Demonstrate an aggressive, competitive, and entrepreneurial desire to build the strongest sales region in the company and can travel extensively.
• Call on dealers, national rental accounts and retail customers, presenting in a professional and customer driven manner.
• Build relationships and manage all dealers in territory to maximize dealer success in the areas of sales, service, parts and rental for the contracted product.
• Provide sales leadership to dealer sales teams.
• Create and execute action plans to meet product goals, sales goals and strategies established by management.
• Support growth of new product entries.
• Assist product support team to resolve field issues.
• Suggest proactive solutions to the equipment acquisition and remarketing process.
• Direct field support activities and resolve all issues and disputes.
• Execute sales strategies to promote and facilitate sales to independent dealers.
• Work with dealers to ensure they have the inventory needed to achieve goals through pipeline management.
• Manage prospecting and appointment of new dealers in the territory.
• Work with Senior Leader to analyze open territories.
• Interview dealer candidates and review company presentation.
• Review submitted business plans with Director of Sales and select the best candidate for territory.
• Develop initial stock order with dealer candidate and ensure all information is submitted to be reviewed and approved by Senior Leader.
• Coordinate new dealer launch activities.
• Develop and execute equipment training plan.
• Maintain product knowledge and application expertise.
• Assist national and regional trade shows to support sales and develop wholesale and retail marketing programs.
• MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE WITH WORK PLATFORMS.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in sales in construction equipment, specifically forklift, material handling and especially AWP.

Proficient in English (written and oral); Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Industrial Distribution or related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

COMPENSATION

Highly competitive salary package with Performance Incentives. $6k provided annually for Healthcare coverage included in base salary.

Aguinaldo, required 15 days of the employee's salary, payable before December 20 each year. Proportional payment applies if the employee worked less than a full year.

Paid Vacation (Vacaciones) Employees are entitled to paid annual leave, starting at 12 days after the first year of service. Includes a Vacation Premium (Prima Vacacional) of at least 25% of the salary corresponding to the vacation days.

PTU (typically paid within 60 days after filing the annual tax return) or 10% Bonus (whichever is larger but not both).
