Automation Engineer (Mis) (Ciudad Juárez)

Responsibilities

• Leadership on Manufacturing Execution Systems (High and Low) communication protocols.
• Integration and support of automated equipment (INE) for continuous improvement.
• Update current production systems according to Model Year, ECN and Platform Introductions.
• Develop technological innovation projects as part of the continuous Improvement.
• Ensure a technological Poka yoke strategy related to Safety and Quality to reduce RPN's.
• Ensure standardization in control hardware, programming logic as well as HMI's and screens architecture.
• Manage program changes through a governance and approval committee.
• Leadership on database for process parameters, OEE, MDT, and real time visual management of the operations KPI's.
• Follow BRP values and behaviors.
• Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
• Enforce Quality BRP policy.

Education

Bachelor in: Mechatronic or Robotic Engineering or similar.

Experience

Professional Experience: At least 3 years In: Similar position.

Languages

• Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
• English written and verbal (Min: 80%).

Technical Skills (Minimum desired)

• PLC programming (Allen Bradley & Siemens).
• MT process.
• 4.0 Industry.
• Automated systems (Pokayokes, INE).
• Safety machinery legal requirements.
• Data Structures.
• SQL Databases.

Technical Skills (desired)

• SAP Knowledge.
• SAP Basics.
• Backend or webserver communication.
• Communication protocols: TCP/IP, Serial.
• Programming language Python 2.7 (Jython).
