Production I Supervisor Temp (3rd Shift)

Lead and oversee production activities on the 3rd shift, ensuring efficient operation, high quality, and continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and manage group leaders for production lines and assigned areas.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of production collaborators responsible for manufacturing products.
• Ensure compliance with goals and key metrics for the production lines and areas.
• Coordinate resources to achieve an effective shift start and prevent unnecessary downtime.
• Prepare and conduct shift changes, providing feedback and status updates on production orders, sales, materials, quality, safety, organization, and cleaning.
• Process and manage human resources activities within the production area.
• Apply ISO9000, ISO14000, and TL9000 standards and guidelines.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
• Implement problem‑solving methodologies and Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S.
• Oversee assembly processes and manage the production module.
• Plan and schedule daily work, establishing priorities and sequences based on production order start/end dates.
• Delegate authority, make timely decisions, and maintain clear communication with all collaborators.
• Develop personnel through training plans, motivation, recognition, and performance feedback.
• Execute monitoring processes to evaluate personnel performance and team objectives, identifying obstacles and defining action plans.
• Manage the following key duties:
  • Review and execute daily production requirements plan, complying with delivery metrics.
  • Develop controls for scrap, consumables, absenteeism/rotation, efficiency, quality (RTY/stop line), downtime, and incidents.
  • Check pre‑payroll and plan overtime.
  • Review the balance chart of production lines with the Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Participate and coordinate diverse events and meetings.
  • Update and track level changes of collaborators.
  • Attend and suggest solutions for general needs that arise from collaborators.
  • Update information boards related to the production process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Execute BOP audits.
  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
