Claims Specialist I (Monterrey)

About the Role

Transplace, an Uber Freight, is looking for experienced customer service professionals with a background in the Claims field. Our specialists will work closely with claims adjusters to determine if an OS&D issue should be a claim while providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day aspects of booking, shipping, tracking, and billing on both import and export shipments
  • Coordination of the OS&D Process
  • Start OS&D report in access database
  • Get detailed information i.e., type of issue, Item #s, description of product, etc.
  • Get disposition from customer
  • Fill out RA if applicable
  • Follow up until resolution of issue is complete
  • Position requires extensive use of PC software to conduct analysis, develop reporting and correspond with customers, TSP and other members of the team
  • Must have the ability to positively interface with customers and TSP personnel ranging from TCs to claims managers
  • Complete the 24 hours of courses
  • Crosstrain a team member for 8 hours
  • Help on the training of new team members

Basic Qualifications

  • 0-1 years’ experience customer service area
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced Spanish and English written, oral, and presentation communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Freight Industry
  • Microsoft Excel—knowledge including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas
