The Role

KION is looking for an AI Engineer responsible for using AI tools to participate in automation project implementation and operational support, in charge of development, testing, system optimization and maintenance works.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and train the AI models and algorithms, and participate in AI achievements in automation project implementation.
• Work closely with internal teams and various business partners to propose and implement proper AI solutions to address the business demands and ensure the accuracy and robustness of the model.
• Responsible for the AI and related systems maintenance, optimization, understanding business requirement and implementing change requests, system training and technical consulting.
• Plan and manage the design, coding and testing following the development standard and satisfy demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, software development and other related specialties; a master's degree is a plus.
• At least 3 years of working experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and algorithms.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
• Proficient in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of statistics and linear algebra.
• Ability to deploy ML pipelines.
• Knowledge of AI algorithms such as regression algorithms, association rules, clustering analysis, neural networks, etc.
• Strong learning and research abilities, able to continuously learn and master new AI technologies and tools.
• Ability to conduct or lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with users on small to medium sized engagements.
• Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
• Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing, and presenting appropriate status reports.
• Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).

• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally.
