We are looking for a Project Director – Interior Design to lead complex, high-profile projects while inspiring multidisciplinary teams to deliver design excellence from concept through completion.

This role combines creative leadership, operational management, and client partnership to ensure every project reflects GVI's commitment to innovation, quality, and exceptional execution.

Your Mission

• Lead multiple luxury interior design and interior architecture projects simultaneously, ensuring outstanding design quality, profitability, and successful project delivery.
• Drive the creative vision while maintaining technical excellence throughout every project phase.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and strategic partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing design teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Oversee project planning, staffing, scheduling, budgets, billing coordination, and resource allocation.
• Review and approve design concepts, presentations, material selections, FF&E packages, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Ensure consistency with GVI's design standards, quality expectations, and project delivery processes.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, visualization, technical production, and construction teams to achieve seamless execution.
• Provide leadership during construction administration and site coordination to ensure the built project faithfully reflects the design intent.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve operational performance, profitability, and the continued growth of the Interior Design practice.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience leading high-end interior design and interior architecture projects.
• Extensive portfolio in luxury hospitality, branded residential, mixed-use, or upscale commercial developments.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects from concept design through construction and installation.
• Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants, vendors, and executive-level client relationships.
• Proven expertise in project financial management, budgeting, staffing, billing coordination, quality assurance, and resource planning.
• Experience mentoring senior and emerging designers while building high-performing teams.
• International project experience and willingness to travel are highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, and Enscape is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and residential design standards.
• Deep knowledge of FF&E development, specifications, procurement processes, and construction documentation.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
