Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA).
• Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing activities with minimal business disruption.
• Provide L2/L3 support by resolving tickets, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, ABAP) for integrations and issue resolution.
• Handle CFDI requirements including e-invoicing compliance, integration with PAC providers, and regulatory reporting for Mexico.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
• Participate in testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and support deployment activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as functional specs, configuration documents, and user guides.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 1–2 end-to-end implementations.
• Strong knowledge of FI modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.
• Good understanding of CO modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing.
• Hands-on experience in support projects (ticket handling, incident/problem management).
• Experience with CFDI (Mexico e-invoicing), including compliance and integration.
• Knowledge of localization requirements for LATAM, especially Mexico.
• Experience in working with interfaces, IDOCs, and enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
• Exposure to FSCM, Treasury, or Taxation modules.
• Experience working in global delivery models (onsite/offshore).
• Certification in SAP FICO is a plus.

Location: GDL / CDMX (Guadalajara / Mexico City)
