Product Engineer Overview

The Product Engineer will possess a strong understanding of basic manufacturing processes and will facilitate other engineers at the site. They are responsible for the implementation, support, training, and troubleshooting of the process assigned to their facility. This position requires a profile that understands the scope of the entire manufacturing chain process and the implications of each change, and is considered a leader within the engineering team. The Product Engineer ensures excellence on the assigned manufacturing process, as determined by the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support fellow engineers on the site to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
• Lead the implementation, support, and training for assigned processes.
• Provide troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives for process excellence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align process changes with broader manufacturing goals.
• Act as a subject‑matter leader within the engineering team to advance process solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in an appropriate field.
• 2 to 4 years of work‑related experience in EMS or an equivalent industry, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Strong understanding of the scope and implications of manufacturing chain processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in an engineering environment.
