Senior Electrical Engineer

General Description

As a senior electrical engineer, you will analyze existing electrical systems and implement cost-effective improvements. You will conduct research, design testing methods, complete quality assurance, inspect equipment, run diagnostics, and train new hires. You will ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. To be successful, you must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for engineering developments. You should efficiently troubleshoot systems and inspire teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, modify, and approve electrical design plans and work schedules.
• Liaise with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Establish relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expand networks.
• Maintain and improve existing engineering processes.
• Participate in conferences, events, networking, and learning opportunities.
• Draw up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
• Analyze existing processes and schedule meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
• Conduct research, perform diagnostics, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and onboarding.
• Ensure a safe, positive work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Extensive practical experience.
• Additional license or certification may be required.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Practical experience with design software.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.

Additional Requirements

• English language required; Chinese optional.
• US Visa is a plus.
