Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in designing and deploying Kubernetes-based orchestration across both on-premises and cloud environments.

The role involves presenting automation workflows to stakeholders, gathering technical requirements, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration.

The ideal candidate will manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters, develop custom automation scripts, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Deploy and scale containerized applications across Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate on Git workflows and enforce DevOps best practices.
• Monitor cloud resources to ensure optimal performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement security and compliance across infrastructure.

What You'll Need:

2+ years of experience in Automation engineering or a related field.

• Basic experience with Linux administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) in cloud and virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization and container platforms such as KVM, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or OpenShift.
• Foundational scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and operational support.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and infrastructure automation concepts.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals , including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and Linux networking tools.
• Familiarity with database administration concepts, including MySQL/MariaDB support, backups, and system maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to grow in cloud, automation, and platform engineering.

Linux/automation:

• Understanding of Linux system administration, including shell navigation, package management, user permissions, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Helm, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools for supporting cloud-native deployments.
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting for operational tasks, automation, and system support.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud engineering principles, infrastructure-as-code concepts, and DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and operational standards in Linux and cloud environments.
• Willingness to learn advanced areas such as Operators, multi-cluster management, and policy governance.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in cloud and Linux-based environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within engineering and operations teams while supporting scalable cloud platforms.
